My silver clay journey...
I began my metal clay journey in South Africa in 2016. Since then i started making jewellery for friends family, thereafter selling at markets. But still I wanted to share the magical experience that is Metal Clay with others, so i decided to start teaching and sharing it with students. We have a studio in mid Wales where we have hosted many different metal clay and silversmithing workshops. We also create loads of different texture mats which looks amazing on any metal clay jewellery
Favourite silver clay technique…
Nature is one of my biggest inspirations, I absolutely love texturing and moulding with twigs and leaves. My favourite technique is hand sculpting small mushrooms and leaves
What excites me most about silver clay...
It still amazes me how versatile this medium is and the creative possibilities are endless with metal clay
