My silver clay journey...

I am primarily a crafter, I love all things crafty and the peace you get from creating unique pieces for your own home and for others - I work a lot with glass and ceramics in the form of mosaic and stained glass.   When I first saw a PMC workshop advertised I could not believe that I could create such beautiful jewellery in one day - but I did! I was hooked and quickly found a beaten up old kiln on ebay so I could continue the journey at home. Needless to say, the workshop is now fully loaded with silver clay tools, texture mats, moulds, you name it - and is such a beautiful space in which to both work and teach, and am so proud to be the first qualified Camp PCM instructor in Spain!

Favourite silver clay technique…

It has to be paper quilling, where you roll the paper clay into delicate sections and join them together to create something really beautiful (maybe there’s an element of mosaic making to this technique?)

What excites me most about silver clay...

I love working with silver clay, the possibilities each time you rip open that little packet are limitless and there are so many fabulous artists out there to inspire you. As far as teaching is concerned, it’s the moment the students polish their fired pieces, I’ll never tire of seeing the joy and amazement in that moment.
