Introduction to precious metal clay with Amy Surman

Within this three day introductory course you will learn how to work with all types of precious metal clay - lump, syringe, paste and paper. Amy will show you how to handle, manipulate, texture, form, join, file, fire and finish the clay. You will be making a variety of projects that will include a stone set pendant, a pair of earrings or charms, a simple textured band ring, a silver bead, a silver leaf and more along the way. By the end of the course you will have the confidence and the knowledge to explore your own projects and understand the processes used in making precious metal clay jewellery. All tools, inspiration and materials will be provided throughout the course.

The cost of PMC is in addition to course. Expect to spend about £100 dependent on what you make. You can buy additional materials.
