The Creative Metal Clay Kiln is a multi-functional kiln suitable for firing copper, bronze, silver and gold metal clay and small items of ceramics. It can also be used for enamelling, glass fusing and slumping and annealing glass.
The kiln comes complete with a fibre kiln shelf which should be used for all firing.
To insert/remove the shelf the use of kiln tongs is recommended.

Step 1
Plug the kiln into a standard UK wall socket.
Flick the on/off switch up to turn the kiln on. Wait approximately 15 seconds whilst the kiln runs its internal safety checks. (It will bleep for 5 seconds and then run a final test for an additional 10 seconds.)
Step 2
Once ‘IDLE’ and current internal temperature are flashing in turn, (on the display), press the ‘Program(start/stop)’ button once.
Step 3
Press the ‘Increase’ button repeatedly to scroll through the different firing schedules. These are printed on the right of the kiln. Scroll through to select the desired firing schedule.
Step 4
Once you have highlighted the required firing schedule press the ‘Program(start/stop)’ button once to display the word ‘START’.
Step 5
Press the ‘Program(start/stop)’ button again to start the firing. The kiln will display the word ‘ON’ for 5 seconds and the change to display the current internal temperature.
If you wish to stop the kiln mid-way through firing, press the ‘Program(start/stop)’ button once. The kiln will now stop firing. The kiln will automatically stop firing once the schedule is complete.
